ABOUT Tara
Tara Montgomery, a retired Army medic, served for 25 years and now lives in San Antonio, Texas. She has authored three novels: "Melody’s Clear," "Sister Soldier," and the recently published "Two Hours till Open." Tara earned a B.S. in Criminal Justice from the University of Maryland University College and a Master's in Social Work from the University of Southern California. Her passion for writing emerged in elementary school, where she won a statewide essay contest. Currently, she is researching the history and theoretical causality of African American homosexuality during slavery and its impact on the modern African American community.
